Junior Tennis Team Lesson Program Private Tennis Lessons for Juniors
 

 

The Junior Tennis Team Lesson Program is open to members and non-members.  The program is offered in 4-week Blocks, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, for a total of eight offerings. 

The program is run by KTC Pro Peter Otto using Tennis Canada Teaching Methods.  Co-operation and partner drills along with game situation training will keep participants active and eager to improve their play.  Participants will learn and develop fundamentals for singles and doubles play.  A fitness component will be a part of each practice, including footwork drills, hand and foot coordination skills, warm up and cool down exercises, and team relays.  Progressive Tennis materials and equipment are used when appropriate to foster the learning of tennis and all of its components.  Participants are divided by age and/or skill level.

Each Block/Day offering provides your child with six hours of lessons over four weeks.  The lessons are on consecutive weeks.  There is a make-up lesson date indicated for each block/day which is only scheduled if there is a lesson cancellation due to weather, etc. 

Members and non-members, ages 5-17, may participate in the program.  Participants must bring a racket and a water bottle and wear non-marking runners, comfortable, weather appropriate sport clothing and a hat, if desired.  A Non-member account or a KTC membership is required to register your child into KTC programs.  Click here to create an account/purchase a membership.
